It’s summertime soon and the living isn’t always easy for a lot of us

Stay inside in air conditioned rooms if you take schizophrenia medication because you’re not supposed to be in direct or intense heat.

I recommend using the computers at a library, seeing a matinee movie that might have a discounted price, going to a coffeehouse, or staying at home and tootling on the computer.

The library is a great “third place” in the community to check out books, magazines, and DVDs and to read newspapers at a table there.

It is a myth that individuals with mental illnesses cause chaos in libraries. More often, so-called normal people cause chaos there.

You can attend free programs and workshops at the library.

Now is the time to go to the library to pick up a free voter registration card to fill out if you’re not yet registered to vote.

That’s my plug for libraries.
