I’m not keen to vote into office a person who is going to be swayed by big business at the cost of the health of American citizens.
Any way you slice it industrial farms do great harm to the environment. I don’t eat soybeans or their products because they are mostly GMOs.
While I do eat GMO food every so often I prefer to buy and use organic food even though it costs more.
The industrial agriculture economic model is flawed. The cost of industrial agriculture to our environment is also too great.
Whoever gets elected into office I fear it will be business as usual in Washington.
I recommend getting out a pen and paper and itemizing the policies–mental health and otherwise–that matter to you most as a citizen living in America.
Research where the candidates stand on these positions. Ask questions until you’re satisfied with the answers.
Read the news every day. Real news–not the New York Post with half-naked women on the front page nearly every week.
Forget Kim Kardashian and her ilk. Focus on finding realistic role models to be inspired by.
Start today to speak out on the things that matter to you.
My number-one beef is with industrial farms and the harm they do. So I doubt Mr. Toupee is the candidate that can change this tide nor do I really think Hillary Clinton will go to bat against Big Food either.
I’m against Big Food and the government policies that enable big food to monopolize the economy – for worse not better – of our planet.
Get out and vote I tell you. Vote for Mr. Toupee if you want. That’s not the point.
The point isn’t who you vote for–the point is that you vote.
Speak your mind don’t just medicate it.
